Hey
mom and everyone
This week really wasn’t
too special. The big thing is that we are going to have a family baptism this
next week.
The family is a really
good family. They live with members so they were really prepared when we got
there. They are already married they have 2 little girls. So when we went there
on Saturday we went to talk to them about the commandments and obviously the
really big one here is coffee. So we got to talking with them about the WOW
(Word of Wisdom) and the father told us that they were already cutting back on
the coffee and that they were love chile. And when people talk about chile here
ther are talking about hot sauce kinda like el pato but the big problem is that
here it doesn’t have a good flavor so I don’t like it but there are a lot of
people here that think that chile and coka cola is part of the word of wisdom.
even the 2nd counselor of the stake pres. says he takes it as a sin to drink
coke it so dumb. And it doesn’t help that as missionaries we aren’t allowed to
drink it.
But there wasn’t
anything too big that happened other than that
I lied a little, so
this last week president closed the area that was next to mine. So there aren’t
any areas that have to go to 2 wards in the entire mission. So the big thing
about that area is that it goes to the same chapel as us so that means we
absorbed all of the investigators from that area so now we have twice as big of
an area on top of already having the biggest area inside of the Danli zone. So
these last few weeks we have been asking for bikes and now we really do need
them. Some of the investigators they have here live like a 35 minutes walk from
our house so we will see what happens now but it really isn’t a big deal for me
because I’m most likely gone this change.
But this week should
be good. I can’t believe that there is no one at VVL in our family anymore. I
hope that everyone does good in their respective new schools. I’m praying for
you guys. I love you
